Note from the artist:
"This painting came at a point where I was studying the use of geometry in the compositional work of Leonardo Da Vinci. This was the main factor in the decision to use a halo for the first time in my work. It felt right to leave a very loose and raw finish, as the composition naturally holds everything together very tightly."
